Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel; the rooms were small and shabbily furnished, which was disappointing, but the service was exceptional with staff offering great help and even keeping us dinner when we were delayed. The location was convenient for catching an early morning ferry, but the facilities felt outdated with no changing cubicles, and the dining, although comfortable, lacked variety in options.
Our stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. On the one hand, we were delighted by the offer to keep dinner for us when we faced delays and the fantastic breakfast. However, we were disappointed by the fact that the room was not in the main building and the compensation offered for the extremely bad smell was not satisfactory.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was incredibly small and needed renovation badly, but the bed with two duvets and well-stuffed armchairs were a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The service was wonderful, though they are not available on Sundays, and the location was excellent for taking an early morning ferry to Gotland. The dining experience was delightful with fresh juice and smoothies, which added great value for money. The facilities felt outdated with a lukewarm hot tub and limited changing space, but overall, it was a decent stay.
The hotel offers a fairly standard room arrangement for its price range, with the majority of rooms located in a building adjacent to the main Hotel Post building. The top floor room in the adjacent building was a bit oddly arranged. The service at the reception desk was very kind and professional, going the extra mile to accommodate guests. The location, although feeling slightly outdated with a luke-warm hot tub and no changing cubicles, is convenient for those taking an early morning ferry to Gotland or exploring downtown Oskarshamn. The dining experience, although comfortable, may be somewhat limited in variety. The hotel facilities are decent, providing a satisfactory overall stay.
My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and had a comfy bed with two duvets, which was perfect after a long day of exploring the Kingdom of Glass. The charming ambiance, cleanliness, and the friendly and helpful staff made my experience delightful. However, the changing facilities are a bit small, but still cozy.
My stay at the hotel was a bit more expensive than what I would normally like to pay, but the nice and comfortable room made up for it. The small size of the room was noticeable, and though not unclean, it felt a bit stale. On the bright side, the spacious room with a comfy bed, two duvets, and well-stuffed armchairs were a great relief after a long day of driving and sightseeing in the Kingdom of Glass.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were spacious and nice-looking but lacked proper renovation and felt small, especially with a lot of luggage. The service was outstanding and the staff went above and beyond, offering us dinner when we faced a delay. The location was excellent for catching an early morning ferry to Gotland but felt a bit outdated with average facilities like a lukewarm hot tub. The dining experience was mediocre, with repetitive meal options that didn't meet high standards. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a bit of a walk from reception, which wasn't enjoyable in the rain. The internet was old but seemed clean, albeit a bit small. The service was outstanding, with staff even offering to keep us dinner due to a delay. The location was excellent for catching the early morning ferry to Gotland, but felt outdated with a lukewarm hot tub. The dining was pleasant with fresh juice but repetitive with the same dinner served consecutively.
The hotel was charming and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the separate building from reception made the walk over in the rain unpleasant. The ensuite shower was a plus, but the Wi-Fi was not available the first night.
The hotel offers nice rooms, friendly service, and an excellent location. The dining experience, although with limited options, was enjoyable overall.
